Peter is an adventure photographer and videographer, based in New Zealand.
Currently, he can be found on the road in his old camper van, "Biely Sip," sleeping in mountain huts, or exploring diverse cultures worldwide.
As a young kid he spend a lot of time in his grandparents home in High Tatras. Listening to all the stories from the mountains where his grandparents worked as a hut keepers their whole life. Then, at a quite young age, he became part of the skateboarding and snowboarding community, where he first encountered cameras. At first, he stood in the position of the rider in front of the camera, but his curiosity and a few injuries leads him to explore the other side—behind the lens.
Street culture and extreme sport’s are still big part of him but now Peter's work predominantly revolves, around mountains. He is not just interested by their infinite beauty, he also searching for all the stories in the mountain culture, people living in there and also different kind of sport activities. While mountains captivate him, his heart also belongs to the ocean and surfing.
Peter works with several brands on various types of projects. His main passion is documenting stories, a role he currently fulfills as the main photographer and videographer for Hikemates.
